After https://keepandroidopen.org/ started floating around pushed by F-Droid, is it time to have a discussion here about it?
Will this affect Tiddloid? The new app developed by @BurningTreeC is not an option for me.

I use TidWeb still for Tiddlywiki on Android and I’ve never been happier with it.
I’m shocked that Google will no longer be a platform that supports small open source developers – am ready to jump ship once there truly is an open source mobile option.

I am not looking at this in much detail but if there was no “Paying a fee to Google” would people be prepared to comply otherwise?
