The Default Tag Color: Customize it Through TiddlyWiki Config Tiddler

I asked a question last summer on how use a more natural color for tags in Tiddlywiki. See

TiddlyWiki now allows to set a color through a config tiddler without touching any of styles or core tiddlers. Thank you TiddlyWiki Cascades

Howto

  1. Create a tiddler called: $:/config/DefaultTiddlerColour
  2. In the body of above tiddler, enter any color you like, for example #cccccc50

Old color

New color

Remarks

  • You can use CSS color functions like hsl, rgb, …
  • Try for for example rgb(220 180 50 / 0.3)
