Section Editor Plugin: First Stable Release

You are right. It also happens running Linux and Chromium Version 94.0.4606.71 on demo site.
Closing section #1 and #3, open section #2 to edit, section3 gets unfolded also.
ending edit - all three sections are unfolded.

AND it happens in Firefox 92 too.

Fold all sections save your wiki, and when you refresh all sections are unfolded.
I testet this in a fresh empty tiddlywiki, without shiraz, as I thought that might have something to do with it in the demo site. No difference.

So satisfying to escape oneself :rofl: !

I got it! I will address this issue in next update!
The reason is, Tiddlywiki refresh the tiddler so, it renders all details widget again!
I have to use a variable here!

This is because I used <details open> to render all disclosures as open! I thought this is better when you export your tiddler as static pages. If I use the status as variable like Shiraz (note to @TiddlyTweeter :wink: ) then the problem is solved!

Formatting (bold, strike-out, etc.) doesn’t work inside header lines.

Maybe a sidebar toggle button?

I used a text widget intentionally, does it make sense to have such formatting in h2 for example?

It might make sense. If there are technical reasons that break it, then it’s not worth it of course.

In my case, I’m trying to write a longish document, “How to Use, Maintain, and update a node.js based TiddlyWiki5 instance” (now up to 9600 characters!). One of the sections I wanted to look like this:

You’re pulling my leg request.

A lame joke, no doubt. But it only works with the strikeout.

There are more important things, but if it happened to be easy …

Thanks!

Okay, I will change $text with $transclude in next update!
One issue is the heading is clickable and if some one uses camel case word or link in heading, then it makes problem!

@Mohammad, very nice plugin - thanks!

I guess it should also work with h3 and h4 → tried it on Section Editor — create, edit, fold, manage sections → nok

Sorry to ask, but did you check the level setting in sidebar?

@Birthe. Thanks - my bad
Its working fine.

A new version of Section Editor soon will be uploaded to GitHub! It has many bug fixes nicer and polished UI!

It has a new section style called Siah Siah which is the name of a Persian song, and here in section editor is a bold and black style!

“Siah Siah” What does it mean? Wikipedia is not specific enough - Siah Siah - Wikipedia

Siah means black, but in the song it refers to black hairs and black eyes! The original song belong to south of Iran!

I think I’m just turning camelcase off everywhere. It seemed like a cool idea in 1996, but it turns out to be more of a hassle than a productivity tool. This is especially true if you’re writing about TiddlyWiki and GitHub, and they keep turning into links!

@Mohammad,
Kind of funny, I was playing with SE and tried to upgrade the plugin, wondering why it did not work at first. Now I think, you were upgrading yourself :smiley:

I will have to test a lot more, but the look is nice and the sidebar setting is much clearer now. I like the delete state option.

I was about to ask…

but now I don’t need to
