Redrawing Motovun Jack

That would be great, thank you. I will reply separately to the Bento thread.

Color always breaks form. But two colored papers are often used in Origami.

At least it is a truely folded model and not some fake AI Origami. :grinning:

At this size (Why is it bigger in my quote?) it really resonates with me. Very Jack like. Having had many fury friends over the years they all had their very own character: hard to replace.

Hardly anything is more comforting than a purring cat. :cat2:

I hope you all das the TW on the side

I like the cat but it needs some definition in the lines of the legs and show the eyes etc to get a sense of the pose… This is an example of one i asked Sora to do which i think shows what can be done …or might be incorporated to Motovun Jack ?

  • Tiddlywiki the Tiger in a Tabby
  • Tiddlywiki the Tabby with a Tiger inside

Just putting that out there.

Cats are not always compatible with TiddlyWIki

They think they are transparent and know nothing about keyboards and computer mice.

My feline coding assistants can be devious if I leave my keyboard unattended.

One day this week I returned to some code that I hadn’t touched for a few weeks. It failed with a catastrophic error when I tried to run it, despite the fact that I could have sworn that it ran properly when I was last working on it.

It didn’t take much forensic analysis to identify the culprit, indeed one wouldn’t have to be a programmer to spot it:

I see that on Jermy’s flickr that there is an album of photos of Jack [1] – they are wonderful photos.

I think it would be a good idea to make use these. I’m having a play … and that’s what TW is all about for me. Its playful, like a kitten.

Somehow I missed out all these chats on the Tiddlywiki logo ! Maybe we should just call it Tabbywiki so we resolve the “tiddly” part of the name and still carrying over Jeremy’s legacy in the name, and we have a nice matching logo for the new name :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

TiddlyWiki is a great name! To me it is a link to the original “English” version of “the English language” , a language itself formed from a complex mix of other languages.

We don’t have bow to the USA in every part of our lives. In my life “tiddler” has never meant anything other than a small fish.

The word has charm.

There’s not a lot of UK IT projects these days. I see Jeremy as link to the a UK IT heritage via his work with the BBC Micro. I also like the fact that Joe Armstrong, himself a UK IT guy was a big fan of TW.

To me TW, through Jeremy, has inherited a BBC ethos. Lets keep TiddlyWiki! Its a great story!

As an Australian, I assure you my strong objection (somewhere between discomfort and revulsion) to “tiddler” has nothing to do with the USA.

There is a long running thread about alternate names. The explanation of my view is linked from this comment: Let's brainstorm a name for the next version of TiddlyWiki - #181 by nemo

For me it’s very important to not let language be subverted by slang language.

I have to say, the stylized look with the almost cartoinish style to the eyes and definition line really do look nice.
