We have discovered a relatively serious bug in v5.3.4 which is likely to impact some existing code.
The problem is related to switching the “colour” macro to the newer procedure form. It turns out that this change breaks a specific technique of wikifying the “colour” macro. It seems likely that the change might lead to other breakages and so warrants a bug fix release.
There are a couple of other minor issues that were introduced in v5.3.4 that will be fixed at the same time . See this GitHub issue for details.
I’ve asked @duarte.framos to update the v5.3.4 banner to the new version number. I’m happy to consider further updates for this release, but they should be strictly limited to fixing bugs or regressions introduced in v5.3.4.
