I plan to experiment with interstitial journaling in TW with my students this semester as a way to increase our focus while being on class in our flipped classroom methodologies.
As you can see from the screen captures below taken from the Daily Notes and Interstitial Journaling by Scott Kingery and from the Interstitial journaling: combining notes, to-do and time tracking, respectively, both allow the combination of checklist inside a journal item:
But if I try that in @Mohammad’s Kara using <<checklist>>
macro inside a journal note, the same checklist is replicated across all the journals and right aligned instead of below the journal item, as shown in the third picture:
There is any way to make a Kara’s journal entry containing a checklist and make it aligned below the interstitial item where it was added, similar to the Nesslabs example?
Also, I would like to have a bigger edit space, beyond a single line form. Something like pressing Shift or Control plus enter adds a new line inside the new journal/checklist item, so we can have editable multi line text before adding it to the journal/checklist entry. Maybe in this way we could combine the checklist CSS to create something similar, even if there is not yet an interactive interface to toggle the task as done/undone or even better, to combine Kara with the checklist demo, which seems like the more compatible with a multiline checklist belonging to each journal entry, that can be edited with simple [ ]
and [x]
marks or interactively.
