Do you need a paid sync service, to sync wiki between Desktop and Mobile

My company is about to write a SoLiD based AI generation platfrom for game assets and asset trading system, it is a federated (semi-decentralized) protocol like activitypub that powers Mastodon.

So I’m thinking applying it to TiddlyWiki I’m using, because sync between TidGi mobile and TidGi desktop require LAN, which is annoying when I forget to sync some note from my PC at home before leaving the door.

Basically it will be possible to issue federated Token as money, and you can use Token to paid for storage service, and store tiddlers on the SoLiD POD that you like (some of them are even free of charge, but have smaller storage), just like you can choose a Mastodon server that you like, no vendor lock-in.

It is still an idea now, so I post here to see if people are interested. If you are interested in sync your wiki across HTML, Desktop and Mobile Apps, please share:

  1. how big is your wiki in total?
  2. how much would you paid for such a sync service.

for me

  1. 62.0 MB + 69.0 MB + 2.89 GB ≈ 3GB
  2. 5GB for 1.5$ per year
