To conveniently modify and sync my html files, I’ve tried two times to build a website via IIS and add a map network drive on my windows.
After clicking the “webDAV” option and inputing the internet address, account and password on my tiddloid, it was always warning failure to visit the server. Some times it succeeded and got a wiki file which was not that I’d uploaded. My tiddloid could not unpack it and then asked if I’d like to delete it.
I’ve encountered the same problem two times. Could anyone give me a suggestion? Thank you! Plus, I could successfully visit the pre-set public website and find my files via browser on my phone.
If you’re serving up your files via Webdav why not just an android browser (like Firefox) ? Tiddlywiki should automatically know how to save back to a webdav server.
Thank you very much! I think that is a good way to avoid the problem. But it is not so convenient to log in every time I need to change my http files. And a browser could be flooded by various information. It will distract me when I take notes. I d’ont want to let a browser be a specialized “notebook” either.
Fortunately, I have settled the problem by using syncthing. Thank you again!
