Vertical Scrollable Timeline (range control)

I have grown to like the vertical scrollable timeline control I see on this site–that vertical control, in the upper right, on pages while viewing a topic. I’m thinking that would be useful to have something like it appear in a fixed location on the screen to control (and scroll) the River in TW. I can also think of other use cases in specific tiddlers. Does anyone know of a plugin/macro to do this?

I can’t see this;

Perhaps add an image?

On my desktop and laptop, I see a vertical scrollable timeline control on the right side of the screen, allowing the reader to scroll through the messages of a given topic. I do not see this control on the smaller screens (my phone).

This control remains fixed on the screen. The image below shows an example (see control on the right side).

Nice Idea, I do not think there is already, but what you are asking for is a alternative to the sidebar open tab in a way.

The open tab lists the tiddler by name and allows reordering so you can get 90% of the functionality there however a graphical element would be nice between the story and the sidebar.

As you see from the discourse version this is based on post date, rather than position in the “story”.

I have being interested in a jump to bottom or top of story button in the same location. With a jump to top or bottom of the current tiddler (on the inner Right Hand Side of each tiddler) if it is long (In view and edit modes).

Another way is perhaps in the menu bar a dropdown to Jump to any tiddler open in the story.

The demo of DynaView plugin is the closest to it that I know.
