[tw5] Absurdly Long Save Times

Been noticing the past couple of days on TiddlyHost that its taking forever to save changes, on any of my private wikis. By absurdly long, I mean that it can take upwards of 30 minutes after clicking the Save Changes button, for it to actually save.

This occasionally crops up around Midnight my time (PST) but only for 5~ minutes. These past few days (3 now), that its taking forever to save, and I want to do work on them, but don’t want to lose tons of work because there is no backups in case of browser closure or power outage.

Is there any place I can see when there is an outage so I know not to try working on the wikis then?

The owner/operator is looking into performance problems.

Similar troubles for me. Gateway timeout on my mainstay personal wiki. Right before that, even the tiddlyhost landing page just took about 25 seconds to load. This may be a serious issue, if it continues beyond the next two weeks, since I regularly assign students to interact significantly with a tiddlyhost iframe. Fingers crossed that you can get some answers and some leverage over whatever’s up!
