Black pudding sounds like a bloody hell to me! Hairstyle an improvement from the former “bryl creme” style. Some form of smelling gel - or the “have nots” used some sugaring beer in the hair. Most fun in a school setting, when the teacher knocked the boys on the head - and the hair was a total mess for the rest of the day.

As a child I loathed going to the hairdresser as after they cut your hair they plastered Brylcreem on your bonce.

Bald = zero distraction. leaving TW5 to be the hairy part.
Longer hair - not too long, free, in a low ponytail or high bun seems to be popular for both genders right now - from my kitchen window perspective.
Tiddlywiki is for everyone - but needs to be the only distraction
