Hi everyone
One issue in using tranclusions {{}}
to missing tiddlers is that in view mode they are invisible since there is nothing to transclude. So if you want to build an article, place transclusions, then do the writing, you have to create the tiddlers later, having the article open in edit mode, so you make sure the tiddler titles match.
I am wondering if there could be a “language/missing/transclusion/hint” shadow tiddler or some other way so that if a transclusion is to a non-existent tiddler, it would render in view mode as a missing link. Then, once the tiddler is created and has content, the hint is gone and the transclusion takes over.
This would greatly improve workflow for writing articles that look clean in edit mode. Currently transclusions work great if you have the building blocks and then want to put them all together. But they don’t work as well if you want to structure an article first then write the content using transclusion.
