TOC Sort Numerically

I have a TOC with the following definition:

<<toc-selective-expandable ‘TableOfContents’ sort[content-index]>>

I would like to use numbers in the content-index, but it seems to sort alpha. Is there a way to define a sort as numeric?

use nsort[...] filter operator

Is this TOC a plugin or native to TW? If native to TW, which version is it native to? I have v5.2.2.
