Tiddlywiki job opportunity: wiki lead at leading mental health charity

Hi all

I am a long-time lurker of the google group and have just joined up here. I hope you don’t mind my first post being a job vacancy.

There are a few more days to apply for our Wiki Developer and Communities of Practice Lead role at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families

The role is all about developing our use of tiddlywikis to create manuals for practitioners working in a range child and family services, both nationally and internationally. Here is an example: Xememex — A place for thinking

You can read more and apply here: Wiki Developer and Communities of Practice Lead | Anna Freud iRecruit Careers Portal

best wishes

Liz

@Liz_Cracknell the work the Centre is doing is admirable and comes across as having the promise to be very fulfilling. Hopefully there will be no shortage of excellent candidates to choose from.

Thanks @Liz_Cracknell.

I’d encourage anyone here to have a look at the job posting, AFNNCF are looking for a “TiddlyWiki person” and it could be you.

The background is that I (via my company) host and maintain a multi-user installation of TiddlyWiki for AFNCCF that has over a thousand registered users.

Part of this role will involve working with me on improvements and troubleshooting, but I think much more time will be working directly with the people who are using TiddlyWiki. It’s thrilling to have such a large community of wikitext authors, and we’re encouraged by the steady growth in usage of the system.
