“Forum” button in main web page links to old google groups list, not in this page. Can you change this, please. There is no mention I know for talk.tiddlywiki.org
Thanks @somenxavier – this has been discussed with @jeremyruston and the plan is to add official links there soon!
I’m certain this has been brought up before, but why isn’t Talk.TiddlyWiki.org a TiddlyWiki or several in particular categories? Could anyone host a bunch of these TiddlyWikis? Could I host them, I wonder? Could others host mirrors?

You’re certainly not the first one to have that thought. I contemplated it too, but there are many obstacles.

TW is still mostly single-user. Yes there are multi-user options, but none of them have proven scalability. With hundreds of users posting every week, that could be a logistical nightmare.
-
Scale. In a few years, this Discourse site has garnered 76K posts in 8K topics. That would be a lot of tiddlers, and it will only grow. There would be many more if we tried to incorporate the old Google Groups site.
-
SEO: It would be very nice if the answers to questions we might search for can be linked to directly by web search tools. But TW really isn’t well set up for that. Deep linking is still hard.
-
User management. There is nothing in TW to strictly manage users. The auth tools are still fairly minimal,
Could these problems be overcome? Certainly, with enough effort. But who would be interested in putting in that work in our volunteer community? And to what end? Discourse is a tool dedicated to solving these problems; Tiddlywiki forums would likely only ever be some sort of hack.
