The upgrader at https://tiddlywiki.com/upgrade.html ignores encrypted single file wikis

Hi,

When upgrading my single file wiki to 5.2.1 yesterday, I’ve found that the upgrader rejects my password-encrypted wikis. When attempting to upgrade, it did prompt for password, but nothing happened when I entered it.

To get around this, I had to clear the password from my wiki, save it as unencrypted, upgrade it in this way and then re-encrypt the upgraded version.

Just an FYI In case anyone else experienced this as there could be a bug in the upgrader.

  1. Please post that on Github (if you haven’t already).

  2. What happens with an empty TW (assuming you have an old one lying around)?

I can confirm that importing/upgrading from encrypted wikis appears to be broken in v5.2.1. I’ve made a ticket here:

Hi @hubertgk this should now be fixed in the prerelease, if you’re able to test https://tiddlywiki.com/prerelease/upgrade.html

Hi Jeremy, I can confirm it’s fixed — thank you!
