I finally had a need for sortable tables. I knew that @Mohammad’s Shiraz had them available. I also glanced at TiddlyTables until I realized the Shiraz was built atop those. So I choose to try Shiraz.
The experience was wonderful!
It took me about five minutes to get a first version of my table, and maybe 45 minutes to understand and create custom column templates for four of my fields. A painless experience.
Thank you. That is nice and simple. I’m not sure why I hadn’t actually considered that. I’ve done table-sorters before outside TW, and they were always relatively complex. That is amazingly straightforward, and might well do for my use-case. (Which doesn’t take away from the excellent work in Shiraz!)
Also thank you for the reference to Wiki Reference Wiki. A very nice resource!
Hi @Scott_Sauyet,
you’re welcome.
I agree with your comments on the simplicity and that Shiraz is a great resource with many excellent examples.
Wiki Reference Wiki is one of the many @inmysocks examples which I continually return to for help.
