What a great idea! I am sorry I missed the last one. I would be interested in the 9th.
One thing, though. Would you consider Google Meet? But I will try to use Zoom if you prefer that. I wonder if I’m the only one. I’m not a google person at all; don’t use google docs or gmail at all. My main beef with Zoom is the multi-pane (pain) interface that I consider very early-2000-esque. (remember the old GIMP)?
Perhaps, as well, we could gather some questions and talking points in this thread. I’d really like to get into writing /define scripts comfortably. How to apply a Stylesheet tiddler. Other things…
Note that there are at least four different online services that can provide multi-participant video conferencing:
Zoom
Google Meet
Discord (“voice” channels)
Microsoft Teams
All these services offer downloadable platform-specific applications, as well as “no installation” web-based interfaces.
For free usage, Zoom has a 40-minute session time limit and Google has a 1-hour session time limit, while Discord has no time limit. These limits are significantly extended (or waived entirely) if the “host” of the session is a registered/paid user of the service.
I use Google Meet and Discord web-based interfaces on a regular (daily/weekly) basis, and Zoom or MS-Teams less often, and all are reasonably effective and easy to use.
Also note that the TiddlyWiki community already has an active Discord server. The “invite” link is TiddlyWiki 5, and the direct server link is here:
