Search box in Menubar plugin

I’ve enabled the search box to show in the Menubar plugin. This is convenient for my work flow, but everytime I click on the other tabs in the search results dropdown, the dropdown disappears. I’ve tried putting “tc-popup-keep” in different places within $:/core/ui/SearchResults and / or $:/plugins/tiddlywiki/menubar/items/search. Nothing has helped so far. I’m pretty sure adding the class “tc-popup-keep” is the right answer as I’ve done this in custom Menubar items just fine. Where else should I try?

I am not sure but you are indirectly using the tabs macro and the search is defined in $:/plugins/tiddlywiki/menubar/items/search to resemble the normal search.
