Saving from desktop to TiddlyHost

I am running a fresh instance of v5.3.6, both on my desktop and at TiddlyHost, but cannot find a way to make the former save to the latter.

In the Control Panel, under the “Saving” tab, there is a “TiddlySpot Saver” sub-tab, which purports to be capable of saving to TiddlyHost ; it has two fields that appear to be mandatory- “Wiki Name” (where i have inserted unique name of new wiki at TiddlyHost) and “Password” (where i have inserted the pwd that i use to make edits at WikiHost) -but this does not work; when i hit the Save button, it turns red, i get a message saying “Starting to save wiki,” but then that message disappears, while the Save buttton remains red.

So i have also tried populating the “Advanced Settings” fields down below with “Server Address” and “File Name” (leaving Upload Directory and Backup Directory w/ the default ‘.’ entry), but this makes no difference.

I am running latest Chrome browser on MacOS Monterey, in case that helps. If you can shed any light, or suggest something else that might possibly work, i’d be much obliged!

It is not possible anymore to save from desktop directly to htpps:// due to security restrictions in browsers.

You can use the “Upload” function of TH

A tad less elegant, but still… A solution, it serves the purpose. Thanks, @pmario !
