Safe Tiddler extension broken

I was using Tiddlywiki in Firefox with the Save Tiddler extension (v0.8). It would auto-update my current Tiddler file. However, now it is broken. Tiddlers are no longer auto-saved and when I press the Save changes button, it creates a new file in my Downloads folder instead of replacing the current file in the tiddlywiki folder.

I think this may be caused by a newer pushed version of the Firefox browser (now v136.0.2). I cannot find this extension in the store anymore.

What is the recommended way to auto-save tiddlers? I’m using Tiddlywiki version 5.3.1.

Are you talking about @buggyj 's savetiddlers ?

If yes, then this issue might be related to the OP -Save Tiddlers could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled. · Issue #56 · buggyj/savetiddlers · GitHub

if you mean save tiddler you need to get this version

Yes, I tried loading version 0.11 and even loading a temp plugin, but it still acts as if no extension is loaded. When I click the confirm changes to this tiddler button, it does not save the tiddler. When I click the red Save changes button, it creates a new file in the Downloads folder.

it is enabled in the addons page i.e. - about:addons

It shows as enabled. The folder exists, but the extension no longer works

mine looks like this:

This is what mine looks like.

It’s fixed! Apparently, I needed to reload the tab with the tiddlywiki page. I noticed that some tabs were working, while others weren’t. Closing the tab and reloading the tiddlywiki fixed the issue.

Thanks for all the quick responses!
