Questions About Federatial

With TiddlyWiki being a community driven project, a lot of solutions can be handled relatively effectively just through communication here, but what if someone is looking to have a custom tool built that is beyond the scope of a request for assistance from the community and beyond their own skill level?

Does Federatial only allow businesses or organizations to make purchases, or can individuals looking for something specific also reach out with business inquiries? Edit: I feel a bit silly, in the very first line of the front page it says individuals haha.

However, my question below does still stand.

I do have other questions as well about Federatial, would Talk.TiddlyWiki be the appropriate place to ask them, or is there a different place to go to for that?

We need to mention @jeremyruston for this

Thank you, I wasn’t sure whether or not I should do that :sweat_smile:

Hi @Justin_H

I think that in fact historically all of Federatial’s clients have been businesses rather than individuals. But there’s no hard and fast rule, and plenty of flexibility.

Please do feel free to ask your questions about working with Federatial here, or you are welcome to message me directly.

@jeremyruston,
Well, I suppose my first question would be, what would it be like working with Federational?
I’m assuming the first steps would be to lay out what is looking to be made, discussing the ui and ux of it, maybe limitation or recommendations, and making a prototype?

Also, once a working app is made, is it a final transaction, followed by further installments for optional recommended updates? Would the buyer own the copy made and be able to share it following the same rules as a tiddlywiki? Would normal tiddlywiki plugins work with it unless otherwise stated?

Also, what are the standard things that are usually requested? Multi-user configuration, data backup, administrative features, login portals?
