I’ve been experimenting with a new controller for a SideBarSegment for Social Media SVGs. It allows for url and tooltip input in the control panel. I’d be interested in developing this further as a plugin, but haven’t published one before, and there are some optimizations that would need to be made so there is as little pain on the user as possible.

Right now one of the issues is that to add a new social media platform, user would need to add the svg themselves, and then edit a new tiddler in several places: gavart.ist — 🌱 digital garden 🗂 work repository
Ideally a hypothetical plugin would come packaged with all the SVG assets, and have a simpler process for adding new platforms/icons.
If anyone is curious or has ideas on how to improve the user experience for a plugin, I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts.
