When I start with an empty tiddler and the view-typewriter is set to true, I encounter this error.
However, with a non-empty tiddler, it works perfectly.

Yipes. I dragged/dropped the plugin into my node.js instance – and it completely shut down the instance. I couldn’t see anything in the sidebar. I could only make one tiddler.
Possibly because the plugin is made to work with 5.1.23 … which is very old now. And I didn’t even have to make a tiddler.
I posted a link to this old demo since Simon had asked what a proof of concept of WYSIWYG in the view template might look like. I would not recommend using this at all otherwise.
There is a newer version that is stable and that is in use regularly but more than likely we should have better WYSIWYG options before I would get the chance to package that for public consumption.
I don’t think we’re as fussy as all that, considering there is no other similar solution (other than BJ’s WYSIWYG – but it uses HTML.)
