Presenting the Viewme macro and a cool way to add multiple preset sliders

This is cool. Or I think it is. Recently Eric Shulman gave me some ways to improve functioning for details elements. Then today Eric gave me a way to add multiple details elements with custom preset titles, based on the current tiddler title, all in one click. Instead of creating data tiddlers with fields, for example for contact data, one could add sliders instead. So I took what Eric gave me and added some features, and packaged it as a macro with customizable editor toolbar buttons.

Play with it here, especially the last item in the Usage slider, and tell me what you think.

Long text goes beyond the tiddler.

When playing with your viewme example site, the caption viewme does’nt show the caption but the title of the linked tiddler.

Thanks moosh, I will have a look!

Thanks Thomas, I will have a look!

Hi @moosh and @Thomas_Chuffart ,

I fixed the textbox CSS so that long lines break.

The captions also work correctly now, too.

@moosh, I added the tags to the two tiddlers you mentioned in your private message. It appears that in making the fixes yesterday, I overwrote those two tiddlers, and forgot to re-tag them. Everything should be good now. If not, maybe I should rename the macro to “sue me”!

Hi @DaveGifford,
I just saw this and it looks very useful.
One thing though, it appears to wrap content of slider.
Is there a way to adjust the wrapping width?
Try these tiddlers to see what I mean.
