Right.

Seizures are terrible. The out-of-the-blue aspect is terrifying. And the concurrent (often) injuries a pita.

Good and good.

I hope you will be okay.

We need you

My sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone for your kind wishes. I appreciate it tremendously, and reading this page has also been a great comfort to my family.

I can now work at my desk for short periods and so I’m gradually picking up work again. There’s quite a backlog so do feel free to ping me if there’s anything that’s holding you up.

Jeremy, my grandpa had epilepsia too and he lived a long, healthy, loved and active life and I’m glad that you have your family to count on.

As many in the community, I am a beneficiary of and inspired by the gift of your intelligence and generosity. So, take rest, prioritize your health. We are here for you also.

Thank you to everybody for your thoughts, much appreciated.

I am making good progress. I am still having seizures but they are a good deal milder and easier to deal with. The neurologist tentatively thinks that it is an indication that the anti-seizure meds are starting to work. The dosage is being slowly increased as they watch for side effects. Fingers crossed, I hope to be operating as normal soon.
