I’m leaving this weekend on a two-week vacation, and I thought people might enjoy my out-of-office message.
Before explaining who’s covering for me for various roles, the message starts:
I’m on vacation from August 3 - August 17th, returning to work August 18th… unless I finally bought the right Powerball ticket.
I do not have access to voicemail. I’ve erased every memory that such a thing as email ever existed. MS Teams is simply a bad dream. My cellphone is in hiding; I threatened to let it swim in a pool of hot lava if it dares to ring. It’s a vacation, damn it.
