My links to pdf files not working as they used to

My links to external pdf files no longer open at specified page using file#page=20. The page reference after the hash does not appear in the browser file search area, the pdf does open but at page one. If I manually apply the link to the browser it works as it used to and opens at the required page. I assume some update in the last couple of years has caused this. Is there a work around please?

I have just updated to the most recent TW and the above problem is resolved.

@peterdatkins what version of TW are you seeing the issue?

The version was not the problem, I found that it does work when using the tw directly opened in a browser i.e it goes to the required page, but will not allow page selection if using tw desktop.
