@TW_Tones that can be achieved with a button, a reveal widget, an embedded soundfile and an HTML5 <audio autoplay src={{}}/>
What I’m more interested in here is how users like the new version of the plugin ( v0.0.10 now )
Good ideas for additional features that complement the plugin are very welcome!
I’ve release v0.0.11 of the plugin now with plenty of new decoration symbols
The Demo page:
https://burningtreec.github.io/tw5-musicsheets/
The GitHub project page (leave me a star there )
Version 0.0.16 of the plugin is out!
Changes include:
- Bug fixes
- Two additional stamps
- A filter section in the sidebar to filter musicsheets (will probably work best when v5.2.0 is released because I’m using something that I hope will make it in the release)
- Added descriptions on hover (tooltips) to many menu entries
- Refactored the many symbols into their own sections
- Menu entries can be reordered by drag and drop
I’m interested to hear if you’re already making music with this plugin and if it fits your workflow or if I can do something to make it better
Best wishes,
Simon
Musicsheets is now mentioned at the abcnotation website:
https://abcnotation.com/software#musicsheets
Hello, I am trying to notate some of my favorite chord progressions and I am running into some issues.
I am trying to do something like this, but when I paste that into Musicsheets, it comes out on 4 staves, which I can accept, and all of the staves are using treble clef, which is harder to accept.
Is there any way to at least change the clefs? I realize this may be more of a notation question than a Musicsheets question, but I am stuck.
Thank you
Psalm,
I happened to have the same question about clefs, and poked around with ABC until I found the solution (since I’m learning bass guitar). It involves K:G bass
string within your notation. See an example here:
https://springerspandrel.github.io/tw/miscellany.html#play%20happy%20birthday
I’m sure you can also do polyphony, but I don’t happen to have a quick answer on that one.

Thanks, I was able to manage changing the clef for a single staff, but not for a staff within a system. The example I posted earlier seems to be nonstandard ABC Notation.
Not mine, but a better example that actually works would be:

is something extra supposed to be downloaded? i can see the bar stuff, can click the play button, but no sound. but if i download it, then it plays in a media player. also changing the instrument on the side does nothing. i think its just me
so nice If it matters - im using firesfox
Hmmm … I tried it now on Chromium and Firefox and it works well here
Do you maybe have the Tab muted or some other Audio setting?
Could you show me what the browser console says when you start playing a tune?
You can open it by F12
should i copy the whole thing and paste? i’ll try updating the browser to see if it helps. or could it be its only online?
Do you have by any chance an ad-blocker installed?
I’m just guessing what the problem could be
no adblock… but looking at the error things i think it does need to be online afterall? because it says can’t load sound…from paulrosen.github
No, I have it offline and it works well
What Firefox version are you using?
just updated to 99, its portable version
edit:
maybe it has to downld the files the 1st time into some cash area before it can work offline?
