Lightpage - notes and diary, but with AI conversation built all the way through

I was impressed by the demo of Lightpage. It works similar to any other note-taking or diary/journal app, but uses AI from your existing notes as you type.

This is unlike the UX we have seen so far from other solutions. It could get annoying like Clippy, but it might have some value too. The first example they use is basically therapy, which hopefully is not a common need for whoever is writing in it.
I also caught the bit about using it at work, possibly supplemented with information from your notes. It will also search for content on the internet. I could do without ‘inspirational quotes’ but there is definitely some life to this idea.

It’s impressive, and possibly something we could learn from in TW - in pulling in these additional resources in the right context, as the idea of AI-enabled TiddlyWiki continues to take hold.

This will become very tempting the same day when I’ll be able to run such an AI as FOSS on a five years old PC or smartphone locally, rather than as a service provided by a very likely for profit entity, without needing to pay a kidney for much more powerful NPU and the other kidney for the power bill. Until then, feel free to consider me an AI luddite, but I’m sticking to text search and tagging.
