I have tested most common plugins from KPL on TiddlyWiki 5.3.0 and fortunately all work fine.
By the way I appreciate to report here if any issue is seen when using any plugin from KPL.
NOTE that the plugins themselves are packed in TiddlyWiki 5.2.7.
