Join me now on Discord for a LIVE video chat experiment

I want to see how easy (or difficult) it would be to have regular LIVE TiddlyWiki video chats using Discord (not Discourse, which is this site!). If you’re interested (and have a little time now), I’m sitting in the TiddlyWiki Discord server’s “General” voice channel now (Friday 20-Sept-2024).

Here’s the Discord invite:

Once you’ve joined the server, find the “Voice Channels” section, and join me there.

I’m getting “Invite Invalid”.

Perhaps this link will work:

Now I’m stuck in an endless login loop. “Continue” button does nothing.

I just got “ Invite Invalid “

Try Brave, Hans

Thanks for the hint.

I’ve gotten in, but now have a competing call to attend to. I’ll try again in 15 minutes.

I’ve joined.
For ref, using the web ver. with ms edge on a windows 11 machine

I’ve been meaning to check out the discord channel but kept getting sidetracked, so nows nice timing ^^

Sorry I missed you. I will probably try again tomorrow after the “20th Anniversary” session. Hope to see you then!

@EricShulman - having now jumped through the registering hoops, this is what I see. The (only?) message there is from March 2022. Is that the wrong group? What me do?

@twMat That is the correct Discord server. Scroll the left column to see more sections. You should see “Voice Channels” (aka, “VC”), which lists “General” and “General 2: Electric Boogaloo”. Click on “General” to join that VC (note: you may need to click twice).

I’m there now.
