Is there an easy way to get an external link with the article's title?

I find myself tabbing back and forth when I put a link to an external article in my wiki. Is there an easier way to do this?

Currently I’ll grab the article title, paste it into my wiki, select it, create wikitext link (Ctrl+L), tab back over and copy the URL, paste it into the link box. It’s about 8 steps all together.

There are multiple extensions for copying text and URL’s on the web. Here’s one that copies text and url. This makes creating links somewhat easier:

there is also a native copy-paste clipboard with modern Windows; after enabling it, you can hit Win+V instead of Ctrl+V to paste, and select from the recent.
Not as good as TiddlyClip, but will save you a few Alt+Tab steps. Copy, copy, then paste, paste.

Oh, that might be better. I’m not sure how I feel about giving an add-on permission to

just for a little convenience.
