You can change or filter the dynamic table input parameters through different UI elements like searchbox, drop down menu! See examples in Shiraz for Searchable dynamic tables.
But, Shiraz does not support out of the box category list.
I was not looking for an exact replica of category list plug in. But to create nested list based on tags or field within dynamic table. Is it possible to add this in future updates of Shiraz
I think the dynamic tables in the current state is a bit complex and I prefer to keep it simple!
So, adding more input parameters (now it has 11 input parameters) make it more difficult to use!
Instead I encourage users to adopt dynamic tables to their needs and share their solutions!
For category list, I think it is better to use a select widget and use dynamic filter/field input parameters
Arunnbabu, This may not be the method that interests you, but I can confirm that you get a nested dynamic tables effect if the text field for a row’s tiddler itself contains a dynamic table, and you have the expansion toggle open, and in theory the nesting could go even further. Formatting can get difficult if the inner dynamic tables are wide.
@Springer Thanks for the tip. I will look into it. I was looking for a way to sub-categorize the contents of a dynamic table.
