Is my hosted tiddlywiki too big?

I just found tiddlywiki a few days ago and love it. My first project is to write a DnD adventure with it.

For this I uploaded a some pictures (around 20 until now) and integrated them in the tiddlers (NPC portraits and so on) – making my wiki now 45 mb big. I saw that the more pictures I uploaded, the longer the wiki took to load, right now I sit in front of a white screen and a spinning wheel for about 15 minutes and I start to think that it might not load anymore at all.

Do I use it wrong? Any thoughts?

Hi @lateralus123 welcome to the forum!

Read this and then come back if you have more questions:

https://tiddlywiki.com/#ExternalImages

I don’t usually import image files into the file itself. You can keep the images in the same directory, different directory, or even reference a full URL address anywhere on the web, and simply reference them in your Tiddlywiki with the following syntax:

Thank you very much for your answers!

We have some other DnD peeps on the forum. I think there is some stuff in the showcase section as well which you might find usefull/ interesting.
