Hope you all are well? I’ve been asked to give an update on project activities that fall under my remit.
What I’m currently working on:
Developer Accounts
- I am in the process of applying for both an Apple and Google Play developer account. This will allow us to distribute apps in both the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android.
Charity Registration
- The project team are currently applying to register a charity the UK. This brings long term stability to the project and ensures that should anything happen to any member of the team, our operations can continue.
Ensuring compliance with data protection law
- Since the discourse server has moved from Canada to the UK, the laws governing data protection are different and because of this, some changes may be made to the privacy policy of this site. If this is the case, users will be notified.
Long Term Aims:
(these have yet to be started but are long term aims)
- Updates to CI (continuous integration) processes
- Consolidating GitHub Pages
