made me search hear… and find :0
Search results for 'oauth' - Talk TW had 13 results currently
presumably the request(s) are more “server” context as the topic is for “multi wiki” thing
any way in some attempt to find a bit about the current state of such things
( in the (dot).js space , as the pace of the web treadmills rarely slows , therefor one is forever out of sync ;- )
i happened to find this .https://thecopenhagenbook.com/
The Copenhagen Book provides a general guideline on implementing auth in web applications. It is free, open-source, and community-maintained.

fwiw this was via finding a depreciation notice from an (o)auth library maintainer

Lucia is now a learning resource on implementing auth from scratch. You’ll essentially recreate Lucia v3 in your project - just without all the bloat that came with supporting various runtimes and database. The code is actually very short and simple, and as a bonus, infinitely customizable. Everything is available at lucia-auth.com.
serendipitous find … the rest of #1714 has some insightful perspective about auth to impart (imho)
at least it seams safe to assume they have tried/failed doing auth more than myself atm
could the above provide any insight for those undertaking the task of creating an “auth” patch
for whatever wiki iteration ? ( rhetorical )
