I Love TiddlyWiki Because

This is a continuation of the Google Group thread “I love TiddlyWiki because…”, 2018, that is a continuation of “Positive Assertions In One Sentence …”, 2017.

I think it useful to harvest impressions of TiddlyWiki. They evolve over time as it’s faculties expand.

Q: What is your take on it?

1 - It’s unit (Tiddlers), from micro-mini to mega-massive size, is the foundational architecture that provides the basis for it’s huge flexibility of applications.

2 - It’s understanding a “unit” (Tiddler) that could be code, markup, reflexive self-examination, an image, multi-level nested transclusion, scripts and anything else the net can do.

3 - It’s agnostic remit that leaves doors fully open for end-users. (It is not software committed to any specific theory of knowledge.)

4 - It’s acceptance of multiple methods and computing philosophies is very unusual.

5 - It’s method of saving itself that is a whole altering itself as it saves itself to its new whole. (Technically that is the behaviour of a rare practical Quine.)

6 - It’s huge scalability—as an entailment of (1), (2), (3), (4) & (5).
