[Howto] Update TW5

I thought I used to know how to update my TW5 version. I’m not finding instructions.

I see i’m at 5.1.2 I’d like to move on to 5.2… Which version do i want? 5.2.{0, 1, or 2}.

And then, a point to the step by step instructions. I’m using the TW Desktop, and am well backed up.

Just use 5.2.(largest), it is following https://semver.org/

Thanks for the useful Upgrade. It certainly worked. The “warning” i received put me on the lookout. I’ve probably trashed a macro or two. But I chalk that low hurdle up to a learning curve.

Since my handle is @shell_functions, it’s time to share a few. I use the TiddlyDesktop, which performs generous backups. The functions here (in the bash shell) move the last backup of day to an adjacent .daily directory. I’ve a mind to add a weekly filter, etc… but I’ll wait for curiosity:
