How to research an answer in Discourse while replying to someone

Folks,

I think I should share a workflow I used to “research an answer in Discourse while replying to someone”.

Start a new topic, or in an existing topic you wish to reply to, start your reply. Once the edit window is open at the bottom of the screen, above you can search all of discourse using all the normal means available to find content you “posted, replied or saw before”. You can drag any text to the edit window, obtain links and other references even mark as unread or bookmark if you want to return later.

Finally when you go to create your topic or reply you will be asked if you want it to go to the original topic to to the one in the window above. So you can even change you mind at the last moment.

Keep in mind if you were replying to “someone” as opposed to the thread only, you can @mention them and it will popup in there notifications wherever you post.

You can also make your post/reply “full screen” for a final review

Discourse is very cool and continues to amaze me.
