I’m looking to reference an external image in my wiki via canonical _uri, but I’m obviously doing something wrong. Please could someone point me in the right direction?
I have an images folder in the directory where my wiki is (mobile.html) and this contains the img1.jpg file that I’m trying to reference.
Is my relative path incorrect? The image doesn’t seem to load when I save the tiddler.
Remove the leading “./” from the _canonical_uri field value.
Hello. I have the same problem on my android phone. I have tried Tiddloid, Firefox and Chrome. Also I have tried with the image in the same folder as the wiki and with the image in a folder in the wiki folder. No luck!
Thanks. Think I figured something - the issue appears to be related to the tiddloid app rather than TW itself.
If I open the actual html file via a browser (using brave on Android), I can see the image, but it appears broken on the Tiddloid app.
Good that you found that out. Please could you share the format of the file reference.
It’s the same as in original screenshot (./images/img1.jpg).
