Glitch is stopping the free hosting - July 8, 2025

I know a few of us have hosted TW things on glitch but it seems that things are coming to an end…

We’ve got an important update for the Glitch community today: We’ll be ending web hosting for your apps on Glitch. In this message, we’ll explain what that means for you and for the Glitch community.

On July 8, 2025 Glitch project hosting and user profiles will be shut down. Your Glitch dashboard will remain available as usual through the end of 2025, with access to download all of your code for your projects, as well as a new feature to set up redirects for your project subdomains so your URLs keep working.

It’d be nice if TiddlyHost offered an opt-in choice of enabling PWA functionality for its TiddlyWikis.

I’m thinking of trying to host my own TiddlyPWA server on my Raspberry but having an easy to use, no-fuss-just-click-to-enable method would make life so much easier

@simon is it realistic to provide TiddlyPWA functionality on Tiddlyhost?

If not, perhaps someone could create a complete tutorial on how to set up TiddlyPWA on some hosting service of choice, for those not in the position/knowledge to self-host it?

I like the idea. I need to understand more about TiddlyPWA, what it is and how it works and how it handles authentication and multi-user.

I created an issue, see Consider TiddlyPWA Hosting · Issue #363 · tiddlyhost/tiddlyhost-com · GitHub .

I use neocities (http://neocities.org) as a cheap web hoster. Cost about $5 per month for up to 50Gb.
