If you need to bring an obscure, long-lost tiddler to the fore or work an a specific group of tiddlers, you can do so by placing them into your Recent Tab. And there’s no need to edit them or to link to them.
Simple: assign it a colour. This can be done from the Tiddler Managager or the Tag Manager.
In Tiddler Manager: type up a colour such as “Red”.
The Tag Manager, changing the tag colour (and even back to it’s original) will make it tag-wide. The colour change places it into your Recent Tab or goes into your Recently Modified Lists.
Of course, if you have a couple of centuries of free time on your hands, you could go into edit mode and change the colour for every tiddler one by one.
