Getting all Tiddlers and lines where a macro is used (multiple times per tiddler)

Hi,

I want to create a TBD macro. Such that I can use it multiple times in a tiddler and then have another tiddlers, named TBDs for example, that will list all places where <<TBD>> was used with some reference (excerpt of the text, or link).

Is it possible? Is there a plugin that does this already?

I’m following up with a plugin version of a previous experiment. I’ve added a significant amount of features and configuration to the tool itself (based almost entirely on the feedback of others in this community - thank you!) and hosted it on github and put a video on YouTube for it. This is my first ever plugin (used Tinka) so I’m sure I did a few things wrong, or at least sub-optimal. I welcome any feedback. I actually probably over-built some parts of it, but did so in order to force myself…

I looked into it, and it is nice. However, one gripe I have is that it finds tiddlers with stickies by searching their text for '<<sticky '. This means I can’t wrap it in my own macro. I’ll raise this in the thread you linked to.
