I have written a favicon maker for tiddlywiki, try it here:
Beautiful! Now Christmas can come
Interesting – Thanks for sharing.
I’m having trouble getting my favicon to work on Node.js
it says
On the server, the ServerCommand will serve the tiddler $:/favicon.ico at the path
/favicon.ico
.
https://tiddlywiki.com/#Setting%20a%20favicon
I’ve tried a number of combinations.
Do I need to have a folder named “favicon.ico” with a tiddler named " $:/favicon.ico" in the Tiddlers folder or outside it?
I’ve tried both, but no success.
Alex
you can drag and drop the $:/favicon.ico
tiddler onto your node.js wiki in the browser.
I didn’t think i needed an favicon…NOW i think i need several…nice one…it’s pretty cool
It just doesn’t seem to work with Node.js version…
The difficulty for me is knowing where to put the favicon image in the node version folders.
Alex
is drag and drop disabled? ie $:/config/DragAndDrop/Enable
is set to ‘no’
With my node setup tiddler $:/favicon.ico
is saved in my ‘tiddlywiki home’ folder like so
Thanks buggy,
I’ve got it working in Chrome.
Doesn’t work in Safari. looks like a few TW sites render them differently in Safari !
The Screenshot below shows my TW on Node next to this website in Safari.
This is not a big important problem!

may be favicons set inside tiddlywiki do not work in safari
