Exporting tiddlers individually

Eric, exporting a list to separate .tid files is exactly what I would want to do. I have been trying the TiddlyTools/Search/Filters but I must be doing something wrong. What I’m getting in my downloads folder is a $_depricated.tid which only has only 1kb. I’m very hopeful I can make it to work, though. THAT, certainly, would be a great addition to the “Get More Plugins” list.

I’d like to take a deeper dive into the code/script, but It’s a bit long for my pea-sized brain. I’ll have to break it down. This filter alone warrants a discussion thread. Anyone?

I have created a new thread specific to this discussion, as I would also enjoy the ability to do this :smile_cat:

I know that, when following the steps I outlined previously, TiddlyTools/Search/Filters does create multiple separate .tid files. The only way to know if you are doing something wrong would be for you to describe, in detail, exactly what steps you did. Also, please include information about which operating system, browser, and TiddlyWiki version you are using.

I have just updated TiddlyTools/Search/Filters so that the export tiddlers function now offers a “single tiddler per file” checkbox option, which can be selectively applied to ANY of the output formats (.csv, .html, .json, or .tid). Note that regardless of the checkbox, .tid format will always use “single tiddler per file”, as that format does not support saving of multiple tiddlers in one file.

I’m sorry, Eric, you are right: it works!
What happened was my browser (MSEdge/Windows 10) was blocking multiple downloads. It’s working now that I’ve disabled the block. Tried it with csv, html, json, tid and it works fine.

Thank you for doing this, I cant wait to add this to my wiki
