Experimental Plugin "Phack" - adds tabs to other plugins

Hi All,

Phack Plugin - available here modifies other plugins to add a modify tab to any plugin that is under development (i.e. where stability field is set to STABILITY_1_EXPERIMENTAL). The modify tab is a customised view of the contents of the plugin where you can add or remove tiddlers from the plugin under development. It uses the experimental technique for modifying plugins directly in the browser.

The plugin modifies a few $:/core components. These changes would be reflected in a future release of Tiddlywiki once stable.

Please feel free to try this plugin out and get back to this topic if any issues found or suggestions for its roadmap.

I have done similar things and have a broad understanding so can possibly assist you in this.

The readme says

  • Optionally you can add list-before or list-after fields to order the tabs as desired.

So I did add list-before: readme to tiddler $:/plugins/ceebee/Phack/ui/modify-tab

But it is not listed before readme. It still is at position 3

Usually the “list” field contains full tiddler titles. But that’s different with plugins. They contain relative names.

You’re right - that feature will never probably work beyond setting the last tab position as I have with the contents tab.

I’ll remove the line from the readme to avoid confusion
