Expand code blocks

@Mario @pmario

I’m falling into the habit of wrapping code blocks in <small> tags to avoid a horizontal scrollbar.

There’s a plugin/addon available for Discourse that adds a tool to code blocks (where the copy plugin lives) that allows the code block to be expanded. Would be nice to see it added, if you have time to find it.

Can you point me to the Discourse plugin?

I just saw it being used on another site a while ago. Didn’t think much of it at the time… now I wish I’d looked into it.

@CodaCoder … I did set pre > code {font-size: .8em;} for the moment. So it should give is a bit more horizontal headroom.

I actually found it yesterday, but even digging out some pieces in devtools and then searching the web didn’t reveal the source. I spent far too long reading the plugins threads over at discourse’s forum.

See it here:

Sorry for the delay. I was thinking way to complicated 2 weeks ago. Last weekend it die hit me like a train. The solution is a simple CSS fix, which is active now.
