Error in projectify

Today I suddenly get an error for projectify.

Internal JavaScript Error
Well, this is embarrassing. It is recommended that you restart TiddlyWiki by refreshing your browser
Uncaught NotFoundError: Failed to execute 'insertBefore' on 'Node': The node before which the new node is to be inserted is not a child of this node.

Step to reproduce this error.

  • Then get this error above.

I can reproduce this error with nodejs version, but cannot reproduce it with local empty.html plus projectify plugin.

It is very strange. Thanks for any comments.

I am using tiddlywiki 5.3.0 and projectify 0.14.0

I create a new minimum example through

This file is

  • not working in node.js server
  • working after saving as single html into tiddlywiki.html
  • not working after upload into tiddlyhost
  • working after redownloading as single html into projectify.html

I had a look at you last modified, or modified projectify tiddlers to see if you made a change, that is causing this, but they all seem original. I am using tiddlywiki 5.3.0 and projectify 0.14.0 and don’t get this.

On your wiki I have no problem on Chrome , Firefox or Edge - same for the tiddlyhost version.

How Odd

Wired. I don’t have problems in Edge and Firefox. Which version of Chrome are you using?

My chrome is Version 115.0.5790.173 (Official Build) (64-bit) and Version 116.0.5845.97 (Official Build) (64-bit) (Just updated). Both version have the same error.

My Chrome was Version 115.0.5790.173 (Official Build) (64-bit), then it updated to Version 116.0.5845.97 (Official Build) (64-bit) but still seems to work.

As I said;

  • I will try and think of what remains to check, what possible thing could influence your wiki for you and not me?
    • perhaps a browser addon?

Thanks @TW_Tones.

I can confirm it is caused by extension Zotero Connector (Zotero Connector - Chrome Web Store). But it is still strange as I used Zotero Connector and Tiddlywki everyday. Both applications are not updated today.

FYI: I report this error in Zotero Forum: Zotero Chrome Connector cause js errors in other applications - Zotero Forums
