Dragging tiddlers between Browsers

Folks,

I can no longer drag a tiddler via its title from Chrome and drop it on a FireFox wiki, it results in importing an untitled tiddler containing the [[source tiddler title]].

  • but I can do the reverse .
  • The Same occurs dragging tag pills
  • It is fine if you drag files from the downloads in one browser to the other.

I think this started some months ago when I had no time to address it.

  • I am using the latest public version of both Browsers on Windows 11.
  • Is it happening for others?

I can confirm this! Dragging from Chrome and Edge to FF do not work, the reverse work.
(Win 10 + Chrome/Edge 108 + FF 108)

Thanks @Mohammad so most likely a change in FireFox unless all the Chrome based browsers are conspiring.

  • It is a workflow disruption for me so I would be keen to see if there is a fix

Something similar occurred with an update to Chrome back in late 2021, wherein drag-and-drop of a tiddler contained both file data and text/vnd.tiddlywiki data, and the file data took precedence, resulting in the importing of a download.url tiddler containing the encoded text/vnd.tiddlywiki data, rather than decoding the text/vnd.tiddlywiki data itself.

Thanks @EricShulman It now sounds familiar, I see the last comment was by me;

@Jermolene would it be difficult to drop a fix on 5.2.0 for this?

Do I read this as incomplete then?
